Join Paralympic legend Patrick Anderson and guest coaches from the CUNY Adaptive Sports Program for an exciting 3-hour wheelchair basketball workshop at Chelsea Piers! This intensive clinic is designed for wheelchair basketball players aged 7-18 of all skill levels who are eager to develop their fundamentals, teamwork, and game play.

Who Should Attend?
This workshop is geared toward athletes aged 7-18 with lower body disabilities, though able-bodied friends and siblings are welcome. Participants should be able to independently push a sports chair and follow direction. Sports chairs will be available for those who do not have their own.
What to Expect
The clinic will focus on skill building, teamwork, and game play, with the goal of coaching up local wheelchair basketball players and finding new athletes.
This open house format is a great opportunity for new athletes and families to try out the sport, watch, and meet other kids with disabilities and their families.

Instruction from the Best: Led by Paralympian Patrick Anderson, with support from guest coaches, including collegiate athletes from the CUNY Adaptive Sports Program.
Each athlete will be responsible for a $25 registration fee.
